看到「New 16GB Raspberry Pi 5 on sale now at $120 (raspberrypi.com)」這邊的討論，官方公告在「16GB Raspberry Pi 5 on sale now at $120」。
光板子就要 US$120 這個價格，如果搭上 storage (SD card) 以及 USB-C 的供電成本，差不多已經觸到像是 Intel N100 的小主機了，這點在 id=42643906 上可以看到：
Bought a mini pc with N100 and 16GB of ram, SSD included, no need to buy an enclosure, everything setup and ready, just needed to install Linux from a USB stick with the normal procedure.
I might have chosen RPI5 if it had 16GB ram, but I went with x86 and I like it because there are no software issues anymore (redpanda was not working on rpi)
Geekbench 中，N100 的 CPU 效能大約是 RPi5 的兩倍，可以看到是有差距的：
- Raspberry Raspberry Pi 5 - Geekbench (1520)
- N100 - Geekbench (2926)
另外在軟體支援度以及硬體解碼上面也是 N100 大勝，唯一有可能的是能耗？不過你扛著一堆記憶體就沒什麼能耗可以言，而且 24x7 又需要一堆記憶體的應用...？
真的還會需要在 RPi ecosystem 上面的想來想去還是 GPIO 或是各種 HAT (Hardware Attached on Top)，但使用這種介面的應用會需要很大的 RAM 嗎？
會不會是上市後就是走下坡的概念呢...
